Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Sailing Home by Xu Xi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,062.96), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Xi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscape in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,507.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailing Home von Xu Xi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.062,96) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Xi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscape im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.507,71).
