The work Landscape by Xu Xi was sold in the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 2,945.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Xi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscape in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,507.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Xu Xi wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 2.945,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Xi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscape im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.507,71).
