Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Currency Wars 14# – 1 by Xu Qu was auctioned at Phillips in 29 June - in July this year. The price achieved of HKD 60,960.00 (€ 7,091.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 75,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Qu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Route Yellow And Blue in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 47,214.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Currency Wars 14# – 1 von Xu Qu kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 29 June - zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.960,00 (€ 7.091,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Qu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Route Yellow And Blue im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 47.214,32).
