Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Currency War - North Korea by Xu Qu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 15,234.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xu Qu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Route Yellow And Blue, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 47,214.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Currency War - North Korea von Xu Qu kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 15.234,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xu Qu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Route Yellow And Blue beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 47.214,32) versteigert wurde.
