The work Departing Horse by Xu Lei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 123,230.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Admittedly, works by Xu Lei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Decent Of The Moon in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,900,000.00 (€ 681,867.05).

Die Arbeit Departing Horse von Xu Lei kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 123.230,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Lei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Decent Of The Moon im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.900.000,00 (€ 681.867,05).
