Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Xiong Hai was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,524.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiong Hai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 58,839.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Xiong Hai kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.524,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiong Hai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 58.839,63) versteigert wurde.
