A top price for Xie Qi - as previously expected
In June 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TwentiethCentury Art, which included the work His Pride - Her Victory by Xie Qi. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, His Pride - Her Victory is the most expensive artwork by Xie Qi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TwentiethCentury Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit His Pride - Her Victory von Xie Qi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist His Pride - Her Victory das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xie Qi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
