Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Disgusted Images In Fables by Xie Nanxing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 220,648.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Xie Nanxing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Disgusted Images In Fables von Xie Nanxing kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 220.648,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xie Nanxing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
