The work Drawing (Two Works) by Xie Nanxing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,143.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Nanxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Drawing (Two Works) von Xie Nanxing kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.143,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Nanxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
