Auction result well in line with expectations
The work China Rose by Xiao Shufang was sold in the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 112,100.00 (€ 11,541.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Shufang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,560.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit China Rose von Xiao Shufang wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 112.100,00 (€ 11.541,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Shufang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.560,47) versteigert wurde.
