This artwork by Xiao Shufang achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Flower sold for HKD 218,500.00 (€ 25,252.19) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Xiao Shufang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flowers sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,560.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Xiao Shufang erzielte im April 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Flower für HKD 218.500,00 (€ 25.252,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Xiao Shufang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flowers im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.560,47).
