Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Narcissus by Xiao Shufang for USD 896.00 (€ 820.51). This price was achieved in the auction Decorative Asian Works of Art Online at Bonhams in Paris and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Shufang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,560.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Narcissus von Xiao Shufang für USD 896,00 (€ 820,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Decorative Asian Works of Art Online bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Shufang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.560,47).
