This artwork by Xiang Jing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June 2008. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work To us sold for GBP 217,250.00 (€ 274,611.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Xiang Jing; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Rainbow sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of HKD 3,607,500.00 (€ 297,303.60).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Xiang Jing; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Rainbow im April 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 3.607.500,00 (€ 297.303,60).
