The work Bang! by Xiang Jing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiang Jing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rainbow in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,607,500.00 (€ 297,303.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bang! von Xiang Jing kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiang Jing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rainbow im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.607.500,00 (€ 297.303,60).
