Auction result well in line with expectations
The work XI GANG (1746-1803) by Xi Gang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,779.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xi Gang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Dong Yuan in May 2005 with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 52,485.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit XI GANG (1746-1803) von Xi Gang kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.779,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xi Gang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 52.485,55).
