Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with fruits by Wu Zuo Ren was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. The price achieved of HKD 480,000.00 (€ 49,986.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Zuo Ren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chung-Qing in Flame in October 2002 with an auction result of HKD 1,724,100.00 (€ 223,691.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life with fruits von Wu Zuo Ren wurde im Mai 2005 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 480.000,00 (€ 49.986,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Zuo Ren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chung-Qing in Flame im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.724.100,00 (€ 223.691,55).
