Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forest in the Snowy Forest by Wu Zuo Ren was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. It changed hands for a price of HKD 1,140,000.00 (€ 110,552.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Zuo Ren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chung-Qing in Flame, which sold at auction in October 2002 for HKD 1,724,100.00 (€ 223,691.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forest in the Snowy Forest von Wu Zuo Ren wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 1.140.000,00 (€ 110.552,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Zuo Ren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chung-Qing in Flame beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für HKD 1.724.100,00 (€ 223.691,55) versteigert wurde.
