This artwork by Wu Zuo Ren achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Panda sold for HKD 299,000.00 (€ 27,808.94) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Zuo Ren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chung-Qing in Flame in October 2002 with an auction result of HKD 1,724,100.00 (€ 223,691.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Zuo Ren erzielte im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Panda für HKD 299.000,00 (€ 27.808,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Zuo Ren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chung-Qing in Flame im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.724.100,00 (€ 223.691,55).
