Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring Village by Wu Li was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June 2021. The price achieved of HKD 1,752,500.00 (€ 190,366.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,500,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Li - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Mountains In Seclusion, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 6,080,000.00 (€ 715,489.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spring Village von Wu Li kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.752.500,00 (€ 190.366,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.500.000,00 – 2.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Li mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Mountains In Seclusion beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 6.080.000,00 (€ 715.489,87) versteigert wurde.
