A top price for Wu Li - as previously expected
The work Spring Mountains In Seclusion by Wu Li was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 6,080,000.00 (€ 715,489.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000,000.00 – 8,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Spring Mountains In Seclusion is the most expensive artwork by Wu Li that we have observed at auctions so far.
