Dated summer, jihai year (1659)
Nine collectors’ seals, one of which is on the mounting
Frontispiece and colophon by Chen Fan, with four seals and one collector’s seal
Two colophons by Caoting Xianren and Ruyi Shanren, with five seals

Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscapes by Wu Li. It changed hands for a price of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 431,625.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 2,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. Other works by Wu Li have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Spring Mountains In Seclusion was auctioned for HKD 6,080,000.00 (€ 715,489.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Wu Li zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 431.625,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 2.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Li konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Spring Mountains In Seclusion für HKD 6.080.000,00 (€ 715.489,87) versteigert.
