Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Rainy Landscapes by Wu Li. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,901.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Li achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Mountains In Seclusion in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,080,000.00 (€ 715,489.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rainy Landscapes von Wu Li zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.901,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Li erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Mountains In Seclusion im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.080.000,00 (€ 715.489,87).
