Album of twelve leaves, ink or ink and color on paper, the last leaf inscribed with a dedication, dated the second month of yiwei and signed Wu Dacheng, with two artist's seals reading shigui shanfang and Kezhai, and two collector's seals Xuezhai jingyan and Haiyan Shen shi zhencang.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy III, which included the work Landscapes, 1895 by Wu Dacheng. The price achieved of USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,709.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Dacheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,360,000.00 (€ 619,458.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes, 1895 von Wu Dacheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 7.709,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Dacheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.360.000,00 (€ 619.458,88).
