In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Seal Scrit by Wu Dacheng. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 456,000.00 (€ 50,723.68), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Dacheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,360,000.00 (€ 619,458.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Scrit von Wu Dacheng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 50.723,68) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Dacheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.360.000,00 (€ 619.458,88).
