It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,318.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Umbrellas (Project For Japan And Usa) is the most expensive artwork by Wolfgang Volz that we have observed at auctions so far.
