Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work #10 by Wojciech Fangor. The »bidding war« ended at USD 231,250.00 (€ 198,548.98), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wojciech Fangor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work M 73, 1970, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 474,800.00 (€ 557,459.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit #10 von Wojciech Fangor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 231.250,00 (€ 198.548,98) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wojciech Fangor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit M 73, 1970 beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 474.800,00 (€ 557.459,87) versteigert wurde.
