Auction result well in line with expectations
The work M 91 by Wojciech Fangor was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 252,000.00 (€ 279,824.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Wojciech Fangor have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work M 73, 1970 was auctioned for GBP 474,800.00 (€ 557,459.87).
