Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The River by Winner Jumalon was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,204.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Winner Jumalon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ricochet in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,886.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The River von Winner Jumalon kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.204,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Winner Jumalon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ricochet im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.886,77).
