Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work A Visit Home (Mount Mayon Wallpaper) by Winner Jumalon. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,740.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Winner Jumalon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ricochet in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,886.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Visit Home (Mount Mayon Wallpaper) von Winner Jumalon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.740,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Winner Jumalon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ricochet im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.886,77).
