Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work On the Way to Work by Winner Jumalon was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,502.02). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Winner Jumalon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ricochet, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,886.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit On the Way to Work von Winner Jumalon kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.502,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Winner Jumalon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ricochet beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.886,77) versteigert wurde.
