In the Photographs auction, the work Selected Images Of Snowflakes sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,525.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wilson A. Bentley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Selected Images Of Snowflakes sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of USD 32,200.00 (€ 22,256.01).
