Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Selected Images of Snowflakes by Wilson A. Bentley for USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,841.20). This price was achieved in the auction Bette Davis Eyes and Other Natural Phenomena: Photographs at No Reserve at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilson A. Bentley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images Of Snowflakes, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 32,200.00 (€ 22,256.01).

Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Selected Images of Snowflakes von Wilson A. Bentley für USD 6.930,00 (€ 5.841,20) erwerben.
