The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,681.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Payne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shipping lying on the Tamar before Pentillie Castle in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,335.36).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.681,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00.
