Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Marine Sale, which included the work 'Spithead Review, 26th June 1911' by William Minshall Birchall. The price achieved of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,114.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by William Minshall Birchall have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2001 the work Tower Bridge, London was auctioned for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,969.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Marine Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Spithead Review, 26th June 1911' von William Minshall Birchall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.114,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von William Minshall Birchall konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2001 die Arbeit Tower Bridge, London für GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.969,91) versteigert.
