Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Minshall Birchall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tower Bridge, London, which sold at auction in May 2001 for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,969.91).
