The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,044.08), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Hawkins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Puma Kitten, circa 1985, which sold at auction in January 2017 for USD 85,000.00 (€ 78,747.45).
