Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,694.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Frank Calderon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rabbit fanciers, which sold at auction in January this year for USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,219.75).
