The work Madonna by William Crosbie was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,763.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Crosbie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Universal Female in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,508.06).

Die Arbeit Madonna von William Crosbie kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.763,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Crosbie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Universal Female im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.508,06).
