The work Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow by William Crosbie was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in July 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,835.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by William Crosbie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Universal Female in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,508.06).

Die Arbeit Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow von William Crosbie wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.835,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Crosbie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Universal Female im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.508,06).
