Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,265.00 (€ 48,019.98). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Clarke Wontner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Valeria, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 84,000.00 (€ 124,742.63).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.265,00 (€ 48.019,98) einen neuen Besitzer.
