In the Classic Photographs auction, the work Selected Images of Alabama changed hands for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,635.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Christenberry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'William Christenberry: 15 Alabama Photographs', which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,061.42).
