Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art, which included the work Untitled, 1989; Untitled #17, 1989; Untitled, 1981; Untitled #5, 1990 by William Brice. The price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,709.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Brice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roses in Succession, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,566.80).
