Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Brice could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction, the work Untitled, 1984 changed hands for USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,764.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Brice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roses in Succession, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,566.80).
