A top price for William Acheff - as previously expected
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Taos and Beyond by William Acheff. It changed hands for a price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 94,553.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Taos and Beyond is the most expensive artwork by William Acheff that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Taos and Beyond von William Acheff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 94.553,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Taos and Beyond das teuerste Kunstwerk von William Acheff, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
