Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Western Art, which included the work Hopi by William Acheff. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,300.00 (€ 13,858.70). Admittedly, works by William Acheff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Taos and Beyond in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 94,553.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hopi von William Acheff zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.300,00 (€ 13.858,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von William Acheff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Taos and Beyond im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 94.553,71).
