Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2001 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Figure Of A Woman by Willi Soukop. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 998.75 (€ 1,626.39). Admittedly, works by Willi Soukop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boy in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,673.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure Of A Woman von Willi Soukop zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 998,75 (€ 1.626,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willi Soukop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boy im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.673,98).
