In May 2015 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work Vieh auf einer Waldlichtung bei Vollmond. by Willem Roelofs. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,870.00 29% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Roelofs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer (Between Hilversum And Loosdrecht) in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 78,250.00.

Im Mai 2015 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vieh auf einer Waldlichtung bei Vollmond. von Willem Roelofs zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.870,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Roelofs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer (Between Hilversum And Loosdrecht) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 78.250,00.
