Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Balinese Dancer by Willem Dooijewaard was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 48,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,208.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Dooijewaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Selling Fruits in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,360,000.00 (€ 426,795.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Balinese Dancer von Willem Dooijewaard wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 48.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.208,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Dooijewaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Selling Fruits im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.360.000,00 (€ 426.795,26).
