Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Vroege morgen; a polder landscape at dawn by Willem Cornelis Rip. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,314.50. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Cornelis Rip achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Molens bij Elshout in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 32,900.00 (€ 14,396.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vroege morgen; a polder landscape at dawn von Willem Cornelis Rip zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.314,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Cornelis Rip erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Molens bij Elshout im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 32.900,00 (€ 14.396,40).
