Heda was sold in the Old Masters Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 182,979.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Claesz. Heda achieve.
